Bin calendars

Daventry District Council is working with Daventry Norse to makes some changes to waste and recycling collection patterns from the week beginning 3 August.

The changes will simplify the rounds, and make services more resilient to pressures such as those currently being experienced as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Your bin day and the service you receive won't change, but collection patterns will be altered in some areas once the changes are introduced.

These changes will come into effect in the week beginning Monday 3 August, and a bin calendar showing your new collection pattern will be sent to you in late July, ahead of the change.

Keep up with bin collections

Your current paper calendar runs out at the end of May. To keep on top of collections between that date and the start date of your new calendar, you can use any of the following options:

Download a bin calendar

Check your collection day and download an extension to your bin calendar containing collection dates beyond the end of May by online postcode checker

Download our mobile app

The free Daventry District Council mobile app allows you to access a range of information about your waste and recycling collection schedule. You can check when your next collection is and even set up notifications to remind you which bins to put out.

The app is available by searching for Daventry District Council in the Google Play or Apple stores.
