The count for the 2017 Daventry District Council by-election for Long Buckby was held at Daventry Leisure Centre overnight Thursday 4 May into Friday 5 May 2017. The results are as follows:

Long Buckby Ward (one seat)

Ian Robert James Dexter (UKIP) > 151 votes

Neil Arthur Crispin Farmer (Lib Dem) > 253 votes

Tom Alexander Forrest Harper (Green Party) > 169 votes

Malcolm Robert Longley (Conservative) > 1,170 votes > ELECTED

Sue Myers (Labour) > 565 votes

Electors: 5,277

Ballot papers: 2,312

Turnout: 43.81%
