The production of the Submission Part 2 Local Plan has been informed by different stages of consultation which are set out below.

Proposed Submission

The Council consulted on the Proposed Submission Part 2 Local Plan from Monday 13 August to Friday 5 October 2018. The Plan is broadly similar to the Emerging Draft but was further shaped by public feedback received during that consultation.

Emerging Draft

The Emerging Draft Part 2 Plan was consulted on over a period of nine weeks from Monday 27 November to Friday 26 January 2018.

The plan took forward the Issues and Options documents consulted on in early 2016 and combined the Settlements and Countryside Local Plan (Part 2a) and Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showpeople Local Plan (Part 2b) into a single plan. The plan, maps and accompanying sustainability appraisal can be accessed below along with the responses received.

Issues and Options

The Issues and Options consultation was undertaken in early 2016. At this stage the intention was to produce a separate Settlements and Countryside Local Plan (Part 2a) and Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showpeople Local Plan (Part 2b).
