Warwick Building Control

Building regulations apply to most types of building work and set minimum standards to ensure the safety of people in and around buildings.

If you are erecting a new building, extending or making structural changes to an existing building, or carrying out electrical work, the chances are you will be required to make a building regulations application.

Warwick Building Control is a group covering the building control functions for Daventry District Council, Warwick District Council and Rugby Borough Council.

The Warwick team is based at Riverside House, Milverton Hill, Royal Leamington Spa. Visit any time during office hours (8:45am to - 5:15pm Mon-Thur and 8:45am to 4:45 Fri).

Alternatively, you can meet members of the team during weekly surgeries held at Daventry District Council's offices in Lodge Road, Daventry, NN11 4FP on Thursdays from 2pm to 5pm.

Visit the Warwick Building Control website for more information about building regulations, guides to extensions and renovations, and application forms or email buildingcontrol@warwickdc.gov.uk
