Sign-up to the Local Lotto

The Council has entered into partnership with lottery organisers Gatherwell for the Local Lotto, a weekly online lottery with a £25,000 jackpot.  

Everyone who buys a £1 ticket can choose for 40p of the money to go to a good cause of their choice. Another 10p goes into the Council's community pot for redistribution to good causes in Daventry District. 

Voluntary and community groups can use the Local Lotto to help raise funds for their organisation by signing up for free on the Local Lotto site. Groups which sign up receive a free page on the website to help them promote their cause, as well as marketing materials to help them drive ticket sales within their organisation.

Marketing support to boost ticket sales

To help groups make the most of the Local Lotto membership we have produced a step-by-step marketing guide. 

The guide aims to help organisations increase their ticket sales and includes advice and support on best practices, as well as template newsletter articles and social media posts, access to a leaflet/poster generator, syndicate guide and much more. 


Daventry Local Lotto Community Pot

Organisations which are signed up to the Local Lotto can apply for a grant of up to £750.

Funding can be granted towards covering the cost of a specific outlay on an activity or for the purchase of small items of equipment. However we have tried to keep this grant flexible, so we welcome your project ideas.  

Funding will only be considered for work that will be undertaken in the Daventry District and /or will be wholly or principally for the direct benefit of residents of the district.

Funding must be spent within 12 months of it being awarded. 

Organisations may only receive one award over a twelve month period and organisations cannot submit an application year on year to fund the same project or activity in subsequent years.
