Education is evolving in Daventry District, with increased investment in recent years to provide improved learning facilities and new training opportunities.

Daventry District Council is committed to improving this education offer further, taking a strong lead in identifying and developing fresh educational opportunities with its partners. This includes the ongoing development of Daventry Town Centre Vision (TCV) Site 6, land located off Ashby Road.

Daventry's Monksmoor Park CE Primary School opened its doors in September 2018, following a £4.275million project led by Daventry District Council and funded by contributions from Monksmoor’s housing developer Crest Nicholson, as part of its planning obligations on a site within the development.

Built by Willmott Dixon Construction to high environmental standards, it includes a range of teaching spaces alongside general classrooms and school hall, as well as staff, welfare and administrative rooms and an outside learning area.
