The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 gives you the right to request information from public authorities, such as Daventry District Council.

Unavailability of information
Sometimes it is not appropriate to release certain information. This will be because the Council will be relying on an exemption under the FOI Act.
The Council has a duty to notify you which exemption has been applied and why. The Council will endeavour to do this as soon as a decision is made.
