The Daventry and District Environmental Business Network is going from strength to strength and now has over 130 business members.
The network aims to encourage environmental best practice sharing amongst the local business community, offering support and advice and signposting to local and national organisations that can help where specialist support is required.
Daventry District Council spearheads the network along with its partners the University of Northampton, Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership and RUR3 Environmental Ltd.
Becoming a member of the free network entitles organisations to attend regular breakfast meetings that take place at a range of locations and on different environmental topics, as well as free newsletters that share local best practices and encourage networking.
The next network breakfast meeting is taking place on Wednesday, February 1, at the iCon Environmental Innovation Centre and is being hosted by Bright Green Renewables.
It will focus on the building and energy performance of the iCon Centre as well as details on how organisations can set up a food waste collection scheme that will be of interest to businesses of all sizes.
Any business that wish to join the network or attend the meeting can contact Alice Ellis at Daventry District Council on 01327 871100.
