This Theme Group is responsible for identifying and delivering on the health and well being and community safety priorities for Daventry District. The high level priorities that have been identified for 2010-2013 are:

Improve health and access to healthy lifestyles

Build safer stronger and more cohesive communities

Reduce inequalities between our most deprived and better off communities
From these priorities the group are focusing on the following outcomes in 2011/12.

A reduction in alcohol related illness, injury and crime

A better healthier start for children

Greater independence and access to facilities and services
