Transparency

Daventry District Council understand the importance of being open and transparent. We believe you should be able to find out easily how money has been spent.

In June 2010, Central Government introduced their Transparency Agenda, requiring all councils to publish items of expenditure over £500 by January 2011. The Government also committed councils to publishing information about senior staff and member allowances.

We have put together the required data following guidance from Central Government and are publishing it on these pages. Some data has not been included if it refers to specific individuals, as all the information that we publish must comply with the Data Protection Act, the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations.
