Rugby and badminton camp for half-term

Daventry District Council has teamed up with the Rugby Football Union and Daventry RFC to deliver a three-day Rugby Camp over the February half term holiday.

 

The camp will give youngsters between the age of 8 and 16 the opportunity to practise and develop their rugby skills in a fun, friendly and safe environment.

 

The camp is being held at Daventry Rugby Football Club at the Stefan Hill Sports Complex everyday from Monday, February 15, to Wednesday, February 17, between 10am and 3pm, and costs £10 per day or £25 for the week.

 

A Badminton camp that focuses on improving young people’s badminton skills has also been arranged throughout the week.

 

It’s being held at Daventry Leisure Centre in Lodge Road from Monday, February 15, to Friday, February 19, from 2pm to 4pm and costs £5 per day or £15 for the week.

Daventry District Council’s Play Rangers will also be holding Arts and Crafts sessions throughout the week.

 

On Monday, February 15, the Play Rangers will be at Spratton Village Hall from 10am to 12pm, and Welford Village Hall from 1pm to 3pm.

 

On Tuesday, February 16, they will be at Lilbourne Village Hall from 10am to 12pm and Kilsby Village Hall from 1pm to 3pm.

 

They will be at Brixworth Library from 10am to 12pm and Moulton Library from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday, February 17.

 

Finally, on Friday, February 19, they will at Flore Millennium Hall from 10am to 12pm and Weedon Village Hall from 1pm to 3pm.

 

The Arts and Crafts sessions are free and aimed at children between the ages of 4 and 12-years-old.
