Real Christmas tree recycling collections will be taking place in a number of villages in the district in the new year.
On Friday, January 8, collections will be made from Ashby St Ledgers, Braunston, Ravensthorpe, The Bringtons and Nobottle, Welton, West Haddon, Barby, Clay Coton, Crick, Lilbourne, Norton, Onley, Long Buckby, East Haddon, and Kilsby.
**Note: the above collection has been delayed due to the adverse weather conditions**
On Tuesday, January 12, collections will be made from Church and Chapel Brampton, Holcot, Boughton, Scaldwell, Walgrave, Welford, Spratton, Sibbertoft, Clipston, Creaton, Marston Trussell, Moulton, and Naseby.
On Friday, January 15, collections will be made from: Daventry, Everdon, Flore, Hellidon, Newnham, Preston Capes, Staverton, Stowe Nine Churches, Weedon Bec, Woodford Halse, Badby, Byfield, Catesby, and Charwelton.
Any tree that is placed out for collection needs to be at the designated collection points by 8am on the collection day.
Residents who are living in a village that is not listed above can cut their tree into sections and put it in their brown bin for collection.
