Residents are being urged to burn off those Christmas calories with a guided walk for all the family on Boxing Day.
Daventry District Council’s Countryside Rangers will be leading a gentle stroll across the footpaths to Cracks Hill near Crick, taking in some wonderful views of Northamptonshire on December 26.
Cracks Hill is a small hillock in between the villages of Crick and Yelvertoft and is rich in history, full of wildlife and considered one of the county’s hidden treats.
People who want to get some fresh air can meet the Rangers on Crick Village Green at 11am.
The group are expected to return to the village for around 1.30pm, and walkers can take along a hot drink and snack, and are urged to wrap up warm.
