Have your say on council services

Daventry Town

Cash prizes are up for grabs for householders in the Daventry district who take part in a far-reaching lifestyle survey which are dropping through letterboxes this week.
In return for giving their views on topics like crime and safety, health, education, council services and their neighbourhood, those choosing to take part will be entered into a prize draw to win prizes of £100, £50 or £25.

Daventry District Council’s Lifestyle Survey is going out to 3,000 households. One of its main functions is to help the Council better understand its customers, identify their priorities, and shape services accordingly.

Ian Vincent, Head of Paid Service at Daventry District Council, said: “This is a golden opportunity for people living in the Daventry district to have their say about their local amenities and the neighbourhood they live in.

“It covers what local clubs they attend, where they do their shopping, exercise habits and how safe people feel in Daventry, whether that is in their own home during the day time or walking the streets at night.

“The information given will then be used to build up a detailed picture of life in the district and help shape future services in Daventry district.

“The questionnaire has been designed to be simple to fill in and take as little time as possible – and we need as many people as possible to take part to help us build a detailed picture of the district.”

No stamp is needed to return the questionnaires. All must be returned to the Council by March 21.

Those returning their surveys will be asked if they want to be entered for the prize draw which will see three winners picked from among the entries.
