New car parking charges at Daventry Country Park

Visitors to Daventry Country Park will see a change to car parking charges from May 1st.

The charges will rise to keep up with inflation. This is the first increase since 2004.

Simon Bowers, Corporate Manager for Development and Property at Daventry District Council, said: “Car parking charges at Daventry Country Park will rise from May 1st. The charges are reviewed periodically to keep up with inflation.

“Visitors staying for up to an hour will see the charge go up 10p to 70p, while those parking for up to 12 hours will have to pay £1.40 instead of £1.20. Parking on a number of bank holidays, including Good Friday, Easter Sunday and New Year’s Day, will continue to be free, with full details displayed clearly on the tariff boards.”
