Grants for community groups

Voluntary and Community organisations in Daventry district are being invited to apply for discretionary grants.

Daventry District Council’s Voluntary and Community Sector Grant Programme offers two types of discretionary grants to groups seeking funding.

The capital grants scheme is available for organisations that need capital investment up to a maximum value of £15,000, although they will need to show how they will match fund any amount awarded by Daventry District Council.

Applications are welcome from voluntary and community groups within Daventry district at anytime throughout the year.

Grants of up to £500 to support one off community events are also available. These are designed to encourage voluntary and community groups to do further fundraising through community events.

Discretionary grants are open to voluntary and community groups but don’t include individuals, private businesses or statutory bodies.

All applicants will need to explain how their project or service would assist with social inclusion, community cohesion, measures to reduce crime or improve access and equality.
