Youngsters in Daventry will have plenty of things to keep them occupied when they take their half-term holiday later this month.
Northampton Town Football Club, in partnership with Daventry District Council, is set to run two separate football camps, one of which is specifically designed for girls.
The camps will be held at Daventry Sports Park from Tuesday, October 28, to Friday, October 31, from 10am to 3pm. It will cost £4 per day or £15 per week.

A Kick It Out five-a-side football tournament is also being run for boys and girls across Northamptonshire, culminating in a County Final in November.
The Kick It Out week is one of the most prominent anti-racism and community engagement initiatives in the UK, and it’s being held in Daventry on Monday, October 27, at Daventry Sports Park, from 11am to 4pm.
It costs 50p per player and is available for age groups from 11 to 13-year-olds, and 14 to 16-year-olds.

Daventry Active and SOLL leisure are organising a family "Get Active" day on Monday, October 27, at Daventry Leisure Centre between 1pm and 4pm, in a bid to get families being active together.
Activities on offer include Badminton, Trampolining, Table Tennis, Tennis, Tae Kwon Do, Speed Agility Quickness, Circuits, Spinning, Easy Line, Rookie Lifeguard, Ceroc and a Pre-school gym.

Free Swimming returns this October half term, when anyone under the age of 16 can swim for free in any public session at Daventry Leisure Centre, between Monday, October 27, and Sunday, November 2.
SOLL leisure is also putting on an action packed week of activities culminating in a Halloween Party.

Daventry District Council’s Play Rangers are also holding activities throughout the holiday.
On Monday, October 27, a Balloon Magic Show is being held at Weedon Village Hall from 9.30am to 11am, while there will be Arts and Crafts at Flore Millennium Hall from 12pm to 1pm, and also at Long Buckby Community Centre from 2.30pm to 4pm.
Arts and Crafts sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 28, at Boughton Village Hall from 9.30am to 11am, and at Walgrave Village Hall from 2.30pm to 4pm.
All of these activities are available for all ages but children under nine years old must be accompanied by an adult.
On Wednesday, October 29, from 10am to 3pm, there will be a Climbing Wall at Ashway playing fields in Brixworth.
This is for children over six years of age and parental consent is required on the day to ensure that youngsters can experience the thrill of something different.
