Local Development Framework

The Local Development Framework (LDF) is the term used to describe the set of documents which will eventually include all of the Council's planning policies.  As these documents are adopted, they will eventually replace the 1997 Local Plan and the Regional Spatial Strategy. Please note that the Government is increasingly referring to Local Plans rather than using the term Local Development Framework

Development Plan documents have to be supported by an Evidence base

Although not formally part of the Local Development Framework, Daventry District Council has also produced Interim Guidelines when assessing proposals for the development of  Wind Turbines
