Greener living is about doing things that help to minimise our impact on the environment. With climate change being one of the greatest challenges facing the world today, it is even more important to recognise ways to reduce the carbon emissions we are each responsible for.

Environmental Support For Businesses. Help and advice is available through the Daventry and District Environmental Business Network aimed at local organisations.

Canal Improvement Volunteer Project. A canal improvement project is calling on volunteers to help improve the biodiversity of the local canal

network. The project is being managed by Daventry District Council, The Wildlife Trust, British Waterways and British Trust Conservation

for Volunteers (BTCV) Northants Field Office.
