Each domestic dwelling has been allocated to one of eight bands, A to H, according to its open market capital value at 1st April 1991. The range of values for each band is detailed below. All bands are detailed in the valuation list for the district:

How the cash will be spent in 2012/13

 

A net expenditure of £9.029 million has been agreed for 2012/2013. The use of our reserves, balances and central government support were taken into account, and the council tax  this year has stayed the same for Daventry District Council and increased by only an average of 0.08% overall.

  

Services provided for by Daventry District Council are paid for by your council tax, together with business rates and government grants.

Council Tax levy

 

The District Council Tax levy for 2012/2013 is frozen, for the second year running, at £120.57 for a Band D property, which is an average of £2.32 per week.
