How to Apply

The Housing Options Team are available to help you fill in your housing application form. We will do our best to consider all applications within 10 working days. The application form includes advice on the number of properties the housing associations currently have.

Those who abuse the point system will be either suspended or refused registration onto the waiting list.

Those guilty of unacceptable behaviour will not be allowed to register, or will be removed from the register.

Rent Arrears

To be active on the register, any arrears must be below £250 with an arrangement made to pay them off. This arrangement has to be kept to for at least 3 months and be an ongoing process until the arrears are cleared.

Choices

You may choose as many areas as you wish, provided that there is suitable accommodation in those areas.

Change of Circumstance

If you wish to make and changes to your circumstances stated on your application form please complete a change of circumstances form.

This does NOT include change of address. If you wish to change your address you need to complete another application form as this may affect your points allocated to your application.

What type of Property will I be Considered For?

Generally you will only be considered for properties of the size needed by you and your family, these are shown below. However the size of property may not be available or may be in short supply in your areas of choice. In such cases we may consider you for alternative accommodation not normally considered appropriate for your family.
