Water Efficiency

The truth is, we all waste water - just think about how long the tap is left running each time you clean your teeth or use a hosepipe to water the garden. By making a few small changes to your habits, you can help save water, not by going short or without, but by cutting out waste and unnecessary use. We are already seeing the effects of climate change and our summers are becoming hotter and drier, so it's increasingly becoming more important to conserve water where we can.

Rainwater Harvesting
Rainwater Harvesting is defined as water collected from roofs via normal guttering, through down pipes to underground tank(s). Water is then delivered (pumped) on demand to toilets, the washing machine and for outside tap use. More information can be viewed from the Rainwater Harvesting Factsheet.
