Street Sweeping

Daventry District Council has a street cleansing programme which ensures street sweeping is undertaken on a regular basis throughout the district. We currently have 2 road sweepers, a street sweeper and a small footpath sweeper.

The schedule for street sweeping is:-

  • The town centre is swept once a week
  • The area around the town centre is swept every 8 weeks
  • All villages are swept at least 3 times a year


The schedules can change depending upon ad hoc events, which can occur.
