Textile Bag Collection

We now offer a bi-monthly bag collection for residents, working in partnership with Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and DB Collections Ltd.

Not only will this support this well worthy charity, we believe this to be a better quality service that fits in with our residents behaviour.  Most textiles are disposed of in bulk after a clear out, not on a weekly basis. Our collection agent DB Collections are experts in this field and are used to carrying out these types of collections.

DB Collections donate £50 per tonne collected, to the WNAA.

Every resident will receive a bag to place their unwanted items in and then residents should put their filled bag out for collection, on the indicated day of the following week.

Residents will receive a bag in September 2008, November 2008, January 2009 and March 2009.

Outlying Properties

There are about 900 households which are outside village boundaries, previously these properties have not been targetted by the WNAA bag collection.  If you live in one of these outlying properties please contact  DB Collections to arrange a collection on 01536 480007.

MIssed Bags

DB Collections telephone number is 01536 480007, should a resident need to ring them to report a missed collection.

DB Collections will return within 3-5 working days to collect the bag.

Your textiles should therefore no longer be placed

in your Red Recycling Box after 1st April 2008.

Items that can be recycled within the bag are:

Good quality adults and childrens clean clothing

Linen

Curtains

As new underwear

Socks and tights

Shoes — please keep pairs together

Handbags

Belts

Soft Toys
