Duty of Care

All commercial premises must be able to show that they have arranged for the safe and appropriate disposal of any waste generated on their premises under the Duty of Care Regulations.

The duty of care applies to anyone who produces or imports, keeps or stores, transports, treats, recycles or disposes of waste.

The duty of care does not apply to waste from your own home.

If you break this law, you may receive a fine
