Development Plan Documents will form part of the statutory Development Plan and will be used in the determination of planning applications.

Development Plan Documents that are adopted by the Council and form part of Daventry's Local Development Framework are listed below:

No other Development Plan Documents have been adopted yet. The Council has started work on preparing the first of these documents. There are several documents proposed in the Local Development Scheme to be produced as Development Plan Documents over the next three years. These comprise:

There are a number of stages, which a Development Plan Document must go through before it is adopted by the Council. Communities of Daventry District have an opportunity to become involved in this process in several of these stages. This is further detailed in the Statement of Community Involvement
