Parks and open spaces

Daventry Town Parks and Open Spaces are currently maintained by a team of 12 manual staff and two supervisors.

The workforce are all council employed and very little work is currently contracted out. The staff work to strict standards and performance targets and this ensures that the work is carried out efficiently and provides the best value for money for members of the public.

The staff work well together as a team and are pro-active in promoting new ideas and initiatives to try to improve the service.
