Electoral Register

If you have moved house recently or are not already registered to vote, please telephone the Electoral Registration Office on (01327) 302515, and staff will be happy to progress your application by way of the rolling registration process. Alternatively download an application form by clicking the link above.

Please note the deadline to get on the electoral register for the parliamentary and district elections in May 2010 has now passed. The deadline for registering to vote for the parish election on May 27 is Wednesday, May 12.

Ways to Vote

If you are unable to go to your Polling Station on Election Day you can apply for a postal vote (application form above) to enable you to vote by post. Applications must be made before an election is held.

As an alternative to voting by post, you can appoint someone to vote on your behalf at the relevant Polling Station. This is called a Proxy vote (Proxy vote application form above).
