A 'Pay and Display' system of parking charges apply at Daventry Country Park. This applies to the main car park and the overflow parking field (both accessed from Northern Way).
Simply buy a ticket at one of the "Pay & Display" machines and place it behind your windscreen so that the front face is visible to Parking Attendants. Please do make sure that the ticket is visible after you have locked your car.
If one machine is not working, please use another. (If you are parking in the overflow field, you will need to walk into the main car park to obtain a ticket.)
Charges apply 8am to 8pm every day (except Public Holidays as advertised) and are as follows;
- up to 1 hour = £0.70
- up to 12 hours = £1.40
A £60 fine (properly called an Excess Charge) may be incurred if you do not display a valid pay and display ticket or if you break any other car park regulations. Please read the signs carefully.
Blue Badge Holder?
If you are a Blue Badge holder you are exempt from parking charges and time limits - simply display your badge and park for free. There are 3 spaces specifically allocated to you in the Country Park main car park (off Northern Way). However, you must always park in a proper bay because the rule which allows blue badge holders to park on yellow lines does not apply in the Country Park car park.
Motorcycles
Motorcycles are exempt from parking charges (but not the other rules, so please park considerately).
