Environmental Business Charter - Overview
The Environmental Business Charter is targeted at all businesses in the district from small, or medium sized enterprises to multi national and international organisations. It is also available to all types of employment sectors within the district.
The charter details how you can work together with Daventry District Council to improve local environmental quality. The charter details your environmental responsibilities and will act as a tool to improve business activity and as a source of information. The charter will be entirely voluntary but by signing up to the charter, your business is showing their commitment to enhance the environment, acknowledge your environmental responsibilities and willingness to work with the Council.

Further Information
When you sign up to the charter you will receive an information pack with details about the various organisations working with the Council and where information can be found on these issues. An officer from the Council will make contact to arrange a visit to, or a telephone call with, your business to talk about the areas that you would like to work at. The officer will then advise as to whom you can go to for further advice. This further advice will be undertaken through an external partner who has the expertise in the area you have requested.
The Councils role will be a point of contact and will be helping with setting up training sessions and a business network, which you can become a member of.
