Daventry District covers over 250 square miles in West Northamptonshire, close to the M1/M6 junction. It contains an international Rail Freight Terminal adjacent to M1 Junction 18 that is due for expansion, and has excellent communications with the rest of the country.

  

Daventry Town lies within the West Northamptonshire UDC area and will be subject to considerable expansion, including the enhancement of the Town Centre.

  

The information in this section will help local businesses with support and advice in areas such as planning, building control and environmental areas including pollution and commercial waste.

 

 

 

 

Building control

The current Building Regulations were introduced in 1991 and have subsequently been amended several times.

Grants

Voluntary and Community organisations in the Daventry District in need of additional resources and funding are invited to apply to the Daventry District Council Voluntary and Community Sector Grant Programme between September and October annual
