Daventry District Council has secured £96,000 as part of the Money4Youth scheme. It will be used to fund projects for 13 to19 year-olds district-wide over the next year.
Young people keen to share their ideas on how this money could be used should contact Money4Youth coordinator Della Butcher on 01327 302418. They will be asked to fill in a simple application form which will need to be returned to Daventry District Council.
Both revenue and capital funding is available this year - capital funding can be used to buy equipment and pay for improvements to facilities and revenue funding can pay for start-up costs for new projects.
