Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA)
CPA is part of the wider agenda set out in the Local Government White Paper. This report presents an analysis of the Council's overall performance as well as two short diagnostic assessments, which cover important areas of responsibility. In early 2009 the CPA will be replaced by the Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA).The assessment framework will be based on area performance not just local authority performance, increasing the need for partnership working within the area.
