The Revenues & Benefits Service was awarded the International Standard of ISO 9002 for Quality Management in 1995. This standard was then replaced in 2003 with ISO 9001. A Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 provides Revenues & Benefits staff with a set of processes that ensures a common sense approach to the management of the department.

Since achieving this latest award there have been no nonconformities reported from the six monthly inspections, which are made by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
