 What is Community Safety?

Community Safety is about reducing and tackling crime and disorder within the district.  It is working in Partnership with other agencies; to make the local area in which we live a safer environment.

The Daventry District and South Northamptonshire Community Safety Partnership is made up of 8 statutory partners:

• Daventry District Council

• South Northamptonshire Council

• Northamptonshire Police

• Northamptonshire County Council

• Northamptonshire Police Authority

• NHS Northamptonshire

• Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service

• Northamptonshire Probation Trust

And various non-statutory partners:

• Local Criminal Justice Bureau

• Daventry District Housing

• South Northamptonshire Homes

• Sunflower
