Visit Interventions are reviews of your current circumstances that are undertaken by a home visit. We do not have to advise you of the time and date we will be visiting. However, in most cases you will receive a letter in advance of the visit advising you of the date and approximate time (usually an am or pm visit). If you are not going to be able to meet the appointment, you will be able to contact us to re-arrange a more convenient time.
During the visit, our visiting officer will complete an intervention form and ask for up to date proof of your current income, capital and circumstances as well as details and proof of any changes.
Failure to comply with a home intervention visit may result in the suspension or cancellation of your claim.
