Daventry District Council operates a public space CCTV system within Daventry town centre consisting of 32 cameras; there also 22 emergency help-points which give immediate voice communication to the CCTV monitoring centre.
A 'Retail Radio Link' is also active, through which businesses and other organisations in the area can exchange information on suspicious activities with the monitoring centre and, if appropriate, the Police.
