The Development and Property Directorate manages the Council's non-operational property on a commercial basis. The portfolio comprises industrial premises, office suites, high street retail, housing estate lock up shops, grazing land and garden land all of which are available to rent, as well as surplus land and buildings which occasionally become available for sale.
